Grete Lelyte was named the winner of the Gillette Venus “Embrace Your Dream Dress” design competition this week. 20 year-old Lelyte, who hails from Tralee, studies fashion design in the Limerick School of Art and Design was crowned winner after beating off stiff competition from four other student finalists from colleges around the country. Urban Outfitters under fire over controversial Paddy’s Day garb
Urban Outfitters have come under fire from US Congressional leaders for selling a collection of controversial St. Patrick’s Day merchandise. A number of t-shirts, hats and accesories featuring slogans such as “Irish Yoga – Downward Facing Upchuck” (featured on a hat complete with the image of man vomiting shamrocks) and “Irish I Were Drunk”. DCU Project Young Designer 2012 takes centre stage
