About Róisín TreacyHi pals, I'm Róisín! I'm a second year journalism student in DCU, where you’ll usually find me in DCUfm studio, co-heading news bulletins and presenting our current affairs show Newswire. I can also be found there every Wednesday night co-hosting "The Loft" - an entertainment show where myself and my three friends talk about ridiculous things and think we're hilarious! I'm rather fond of the news and I like to write about it sometimes on my blog > roisintreacy4.wordpress.com <

In a school newsletter issued to parents, Leonie Hultgren, principal of Harlaxton State School in Queensland, said that the threat of cyber bullying warranted the school becoming involved: “There has been some considerable Facebook traffic that either bullies a child of this school or in some cases denigrates some staff and the school.” Hultgren instructed parents of students under the age of [...]

Jurors deliberated for three days before delivering the guilty verdict. The trial lasted three weeks, with prosecutors calling 83 witnesses to the stand, including Hudson herself. No DNA or finger print evidence directly linked Balfour to the [...]

Since this original discovery, several other variations of such a programme have become available like SelfControl [...]

Although brigades are generally consist of 15 to 25 people, the medical one which Global Brigades aim to send will be higher due to the area’s demand for nurses and medical assistants. Volunteers interested in participating in the programme must cover their own expenses for [...]
