Young romance; isn’t it so precious? The best thing in the world, perhaps. Or is it?
In response to the UK’s week dedicated to the issues surrounding alcohol abuse, a group in Ireland wants to emulate their campaign here in Ireland and have a similar Alcohol awareness week.
Drink, drink, drink, and wait for it…more drink. A night drinking loads of alcohol usually sums up a night out for most students. One individual alone could consume a bottle of wine, four cans of Bulmers and a nagin of vodka before midnight. When you see that written down, it doesn’t seem as harmless as it did while you were drinking it. Welcome to college: the land where binge drinking is not seen as a problem, but as a way of life. Good for the economy. Bad for your finances.
‘But I’m not a runner’. This is the phrase which you have probably heard countless number of times from people over the years. Or, in my case, have repeated to yourself in order to avoid exercise.
