Photos emerged yesterday of Kristen Stewart, caught in the act with 41-year-old Snow White and the Huntsman director, Rupert Sanders.
Sanders has been married for seven years to model and actress Liberty Ross (33). Ross played as Stewart’s mother in Snow White and the Huntsman. They have two children, daughter Skyla (7) and son Tennyson (5).
Unable to deny the incriminating images, Stewart released a statement to People magazine today: “I’m deeply sorry for the hurt and embarrassment I’ve caused to those close to me and everyone this has affected. This momentary indiscretion has jeopardized the most important thing in my life, the person I love and respect the most, Rob. I love him, I love him, I’m so sorry.”
Kristen (22) and Robert (26) met four years ago, while filming the first Twilight movie. The fifth and final instalment of the Twilight saga, Breaking Dawn – Part 2, will be in cinemas this November.
Sanders has also made a statement about the affair: “I am utterly distraught about the pain I have caused my family … My beautiful wife and heavenly children are all I have in this world. I love them with all my heart. I am praying that we can get through this together.”
It seems that Stewart and Sanders are releasing very public apologies for such a private matter. Could this be a PR stunt? Will K-Stew and R-Patz conveniently split as the Twilight saga comes to an end?
