Sick of starting off the summer on a student budget? Not sure if you prefer the chase of the horses or the chase of the fairer sex? Well now, you can have both for just €15!
The Leopardstown Festival is going strong and is currently in its fourth year. Think Oxegen, but classier! A combination of turf and tempo.
The next event is taking place on the 21st June. Alongside racing features from some of Ireland’s top horses and jockeys, The Walls and Frank and Walters will also be taking to the stage.
If tickets are bought online and in advance, they only cost €15 for basic entry to both the races and the gigs. If you have a little more cash to flash, or you’ve gotten lucky on the day, there are even more options for you.
For €30 you can avail of the Festival Bundle which includes Admission, Racing, Live Concert, Racecard, a bottle of Budweiser and a meal option from the Festival Food Court.
€65 will get you the Pavillion Party Package which includes Admission, Racing, Live Concert, Racecard, a Prosecco Reception, a Three-Course Meal at a reserved table (no slumming it for you!), and the assistance of a racing tipster to help you in choosing the best horses for your money!
If you’re feeling particularly flush you might want to splash out on a private suite. Starting at a mere €95 per person, for groups of 12-50, you will each receive the usual package, plus complimentary racecards in a terraced suite on the Grandstand’s third floor. You’ll be spoiled so much that you won’t even need to look at the racecourse yourself- you’ll be treated to up-close coverage on television screens. Your choices range from the Finger Buffet, the Fork Buffet, the Classic Buffet Menu or the Premium Buffet Menu… Can I hear you say Fruit Fool? (It’s a dessert choice…)
And for the ladies, there is even more excitement! Don’t forget the compulsory style. Each week, the most stylish lady chosen will be awarded a €250 PANDORA voucher and will go through to the grand final on August 16th. There she shall face a panel of judges and the overall winner who shows the most creative and individual style will be awarded a €500 voucher.
