There’s no running from children’s rights

Irish musician Damien Dempsey and Catherina McKiernan teamed up today to take on a 5km run in support of children’s rights. The event, taking place in the Phoenix Park, was organised by the Peoples Recovery Empowerment Development Assistance Foundation (PREDA) – a Philippines-based children’s charity which strives to free children from adult prisons and child exploitation. Dempsey and McKiernan ran alongside PREDA advocates as well as over 300 people who came out to support the worthwhile cause, raising funds and increasing awareness of the charity and its work.
