Katy Perry and Russell Brand are set to split after the British comedian filed for divorce earlier today. In a statement released by Brand in the last few hours, he said that “Katy and I are ending our marriage. I’ll always adore her and I know we’ll remain friends”. Brand filed for divorce in Los Angeles Supreme Court citing “irreconcilable differences” as the reason. For the past three years First Fortnight has been providing voluntary, arts-based entertainment in the name of mental health awareness. If you’re looking for a last minute present for that special someone, Waterstones  has a suggestion which really says Merry Christmas. The retailer has included the Adolf Hitler book Mein Kampf or My Struggle in a seasonal promotion at a branch in Huddersfield, West Yorkshire, bearing a festive Christmas label describing it as “an essential read”.
